Piet design was founded in the 1990s by Elisabeth (Piet) Rijkels-Visser. Elisabeth made building boards from an early age and that hobby slowly grew into the largest building board company in the Netherlands.
The brand is based on designs on classic Dutch designs. In this way they try to bring a piece of the past to people's homes by making it accessible, understandable and a part of life. You are part of the artwork yourself because you have to build it yourself.
